Automobile con una storia davvero unica, venduta nuova dalla concessionaria Mercedes Benz del Kuwait al console Italiano, l'auto è stata portata in Italia dal console già nel 1964 dove è stata poi nazionalizzata Italiana già negli anni '60 con targa Roma.
La vettura è stata dello stesso proprietario fino al 1996 per poi essere ceduta ad una famiglia di Trieste che l'ha custodita fino al 2008 per passare nelle mani di un noto collezionista Padovano.
Si conosce pertanto perfettamente tutta la storia, la meticolosa documentazione comprovante le magnifiche condizioni nonché le dotazioni originali di fabbrica.
Questa 220 è stata oggetto negli anni di numerosi interventi di manutenzione straordinaria, dalla revisione del motore al rifacimento totale degli interni di pochi anni fa (con estrema cura del dettaglio come le modanature in lego originali).

A car with a truly unique history, sold new by the Mercedes Benz dealership in Kuwait to the Italian consul. The car was brought to Italy by the consul as early as 1964, where it was then registered in Italy during the 1960s with a Rome license plate.
The vehicle remained with the same owner until 1996, before being sold to a family from Trieste who kept it until 2008, when it passed into the hands of a well known collector from Padua.
Its entire history is therefore perfectly known, backed by meticulous documentation proving its magnificent condition as well as its original factory equipment. Over the years, this 220 has undergone numerous extraordinary maintenance interventions, from an engine overhaul to a total restoration of the interior just a few years ago (with extreme attention to detail, such as the original wood trim).
